President Uribe inaugurated an Interactive bus about Colombia in Spain

The bus has computers inside with all the information about tourism and possibilities for investing in Colombia. At first it will be in Barcelona and Bilbao and then it will go to other cities in Spain.

Madrid, Spain, April 28 (SP). The President of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe Vélez, inaugurated an interactive bus about Colombia, which will travel around Spain to promote tourism and European investment in our country.

The initiative, led by Proexport, seeks to show all the things that Colombia offers through images and information, in order to incentivize foreign investment and tourism to the country.

“This bus is a roling testimony of Colombia and will begin a tour for Spain from tomorrow. You just saw it: all the pictures of Colombia, computers with all the information about Colombia, the page with investment promotion, the pages of tourism promotion”, the leader explained.

He said that the bus will start its tour in the cities of Bilbao and Barcelona, and then it will go to other cities of Spain.
“This is a great idea of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, of Porexport – here is its Director, Mrs María Elvira Pombo – of Carlos Rodado, our Ambassador in Spain. I congratulate my Government’s fellows, who have conceived this idea and had put it into practice” pointed President Uribe.

He revealed that there is other bus, similar to this one traveling around the United States, also in order to promote Colombia in that country.
