The Head of State highlighted the intelligence operations made with persistence and professionalism for months by the authorities, which allowed the capture in a rural zone of Necoclí town in the Antioquia’s Urabá.
“My congratulations to the Police of Colombia, the General Naranjo its Director, Coronel Pinzón and all the members of the Colombian Police. The Armed Forces of Colombia make us feel proud”, he added.
The leader informed that he was aware of the operation and today when he was in a bilateral meeting with his counterpart of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, he received the news.
“During Holly Week we experienced some kind of wakefulness, following the operation. And I have to confess that this morning, when I was here with President Lula and they called to give me the news, I felt in my hearth a great relieve for all Colombians to know that the Police was able to capture this criminal and a great hope that after all these accomplishments Colombia will finally, and not so far away, get rid of all this crime”, he pointed. |
