The Head of State finished his tour of seven South American countries and returns to Colombia tonight.

Brasilia, August 6 (SP). President Álvaro Uribe Vélez expressed his gratitude to his counterpart of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva, for the extensive dialogue they held this Thursday at the Planalto Palace in Brasilia.

The Head of State, who finished his tour of South America, greeted the people of Brazil and the press of that country.

“I want to greet all of you, express my gratitude for the extensive dialogue that we just had with President Lula and some officials of his Government. And through you, dear journalists express my greetings for the people of Brazil”.

The Colombian Head of State will return to Colombia tonight.
