Bogotá, February 25th (SP).The Presidential Agency for the Social Action and the International Cooperation, ACCION SOCIAL, in reference to the declarations made by the extradited paramilitary leader, Salvatore Mancuso,   declare the following:

1. It is not true that Mr. Salvatore Mancuso gave this Presidential Agency over 20 plots of land destined to the victims’ reparation.  He is also lying when he says that the things given to the Reparation of Victims Fund (FPV) is valued in 30 million dollars.

2. 26 of the 27 offered goods, are affected with an interim measure of impound and it has only been possible to obtain 8 plots of land*.

3. The rest of the lands have some inconveniences that obstruct its final destination to the reparation of victims such us: Leasing agreements for 25 years, starting after the process of demobilization; impounds by a third part and some lands which its property tradition has not been able to be determined. 

4. The offered possessions have to be regularized and with vocation to the reparation of victims**. The requests made by ACCIÓN SOCIAL –FPV, are according to constitutional and legal principles, which are made to guarantee effective reparation to the victims.
5. More than rhetoric and shallow speeches, the postulates must give truly regularized possessions and stop making false announcements, that are no other thing that a mock to the victims.

** To be regularized it must follow these requirements: Property registration certificate, and if it is not registered, the Cadastral Register, also tax receipts and other judicial acts not registered.
