The President of Panama comes to Colombia for a work meeting

Martín Torrijos Espino will arrive to Bogotá in the afternoon to hold a bilateral work meeting with his equivalent of Colombia Álvaro Uribe Velez. A dinner between the two Presidents is also in the agenda.

Bogotá, March 2 (SP). The President of Panamá, Martín Torrijos Espino, will get to Bogotá to raise bilateral subjects with Alvaro Uribe Vélez, President of Colombia.

The purpose of the meeting is to keep good relations between both countries.

Besides the private conversation, the Head of State of Panama will attend to a dinner offered in his honour by President Uribe.

Torrijos will arrive to Air Force Base “Brigadier General Camilo Daza” of Bogotá, at 5:30pm where the Foreign Minister, Jaime Bermudez will welcome him.

Then, he will go to the Casa de Nariño, where he is going to receive military honors from the Presidential Guard Battalion. After the meeting and the dinner, President Torrijos will leave to Panama City.

The President Martin Torrijos will come with the Vice president and Foreign Secretary of Panama, Samuel Lewis Navarro, and the Justice and Government Miniter, Dilio Arcio, among others.
