Santa Marta, July 23 (SP). The security agreement, which is been processed with the United States, guarantees continuity of an improved Plan Colombia, President Álvaro Uribe Vélez stated in Santa Marta.
That was pointed by President Uribe during the opening act of the ‘Fifth meeting of Interagency Coordination’, arranged by Presidential Agency Acción Social in Santa Marta. This meeting gathers guests from different countries.
“This agreement guarantees continuity of an improved Plan Colombia. A Plan improved by the experience throughout these years. We have worked in Plan Colombia for eight years now. These 8 years gave us experiences, gave us knowledge”.
“All this lead us to improve, to plan a path of an improved Plan Colombia, I would say that is the reason for this security agreement with the United States”, the Head of State said.
