Barranquilla, July 3 (SP). “Some days ago, and international official asked me if I believe that the progress made with the Democratic Security Policy was irreversible.

I analyzed that for a few seconds, before giving her an answer, and I told her: ‘Not yet’.

What we are living today, which is generating some kind of distress, this attack against former Minister (of Defense) Juan Manuel Santos, shows the danger that still is generating the terrorism of the Farc and all its local and international supporters.

It is difficult for me to talk about this issue, because some people are confuse between prudence and hypocrisy, others believe that in order to be accurate, the Government must please terrorism’s supporters.

We spent some hour thinking about how to talk about this issue, besides facing it, and there is a very important group of jurist that are guiding the National Government.

For the moment, let me say, dear fellowmen citizens, that we must be united to protect our former Minister of Defense, Mr. Juan Manuel Santos; and denounce before the world that is a trick from the supporters of terrorism, who since 50 years ago have been meddling everywhere, and they have been meddling in some sectors of the justice as well.

This is a trick from the supporters of the main kidnaper group of the world, which is the Farc; this is a trick from the supporters of one of the most dangerous kidnapers groups which is the Farc; this is a trick from the supporters of this torturing group, criminal, cynical, and sadist of the world, which is the Farc.

 “We know how this works. Since 40 years, this criminals of the Farc have make us get used to the fact that they kill and they also know how to penetrate into our institutions; they kidnap and also know how to look for impunity in some sectors just as this judge who dared to issue an arrest warrant against the former Minister Juan Manuel Santos.

We are used to it. Nothing surprises us, but we have all the strength and energy to continue with this battle and its consequences

I don’t understand why the Organization of American States and the countries of our continent, who disqualified on time the coup in Honduras, are so silent about this coup to the democratic institutions of Colombia, supported and sponsored by the Farc and through a supporter of terrorism, meddled in Ecuadorian justice,

At this moment we can’t continue with these confusions; we can´t keep asking for hypocrisy in the name of prudence; we can’t ask for weakness anymore in the name of international relations; we can’t keep asking for submissiveness facing terrorism, in the name of diplomatic rules.

They dared us, and we are going to face that challenge, and we still have the determination to chase those criminals, no matter who is protecting them, because the Colombian people have lived that violence since 1940.

All those who want to protect themselves with academic arguments and sophisticated speeches, must know that they no longer have the capacity to trick us.

The, now they are going to put in jail the man who took a great risk to liberate Ingrid Betancourt and the tortured Colombian Armed Forces members kidnapped for so long?

The, now they are going to put into jail those who have gave their lives, energy, and have made a lot of sacrifices for the freedom of kidnapped people, they are going to put them in jail so kidnapers can win?

Then, now trough lies, and judicial tricks they want to impose us the terrorist empire of the Farc?

There is no way for us to accept that. There is no way for us to accept that.

The coup in Honduras is just as serious as the coup to support terrorism that they want to have in Colombia through a sham of an Ecuadorian judge who, we are positive, is not supported by the Ecuadorian people.

Ecuadorian people know that there were not the Ecuadorian people who protected Farc. Ecuadorian people know that Ecuadorian people were not the ones who allowed ‘Raul Reyes’ to have his torture bases in Ecuador. Ecuadorian people know that they were not accomplices with the Farc in the kidnapping of Ingrid     Betancourt. Ecuadorian people know, and some day they are going to say it, who are the ones there who against the will of the people, are accomplices with the torture, the supporters of kidnapping, the supporters of terrorism.

I think and I think each time in what to say. But this is a challenging time.

And do you know why they have step on us for so many years?

Because we did not face the storm when we had to, because we declare ourselves as loosers in front of terrorism since the first moment, in the name of a false interpretation of civility.
