Washington, 29 jun (SP). The President of the United States, Barack Obama, declared that he trusts that the Free Trade Agreement will be approved by the congress of his country.
The leader of United States talked about this topic, in a declaration made after his meeting with President Alvaro Uribe, this Monday at the White House.
"There are some difficulties in the process and a lot of work must be done, but I believe that in ultimately we can reach an agreement (free trade) beneficial for both countries, Colombia and United States", President Obama said.
He also said that he asked his Government employees, in charge of Trade, to work with Colombia to move forward in the approval of the agreement. |
