Bogota, October 25 (SP). The following is the statement made by the President of the Republic, Álvaro Uribe Velez, offered on Sunday at the Catam Military Airport in Bogota, in connection with the Colombians and other nationals murdered by terrorists in Venezuela.

President of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe Vélez: “Regarding to the Colombians and other citizens murdered by terrorists in Venezuela: at this moment the Ombudsman is traveling. The Colombian Embassy is getting on with the respective actions in Caracas. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with the International Organization for Migration for the repatriation of the bodies.

This deplorable event shows that terrorism is international, that has no borders. We hope for a total efficient action from the authorities of Venezuela in order to take those terrorists to jail. And of course, our authorities will be ready to collaborate with the authorities of Venezuela in all that is within our reach”.
