Minister of Foreign Affairs talked with the President of Korea about progress of Studies for FTA

Minister Jaime Bermúdez, who is visiting that country, also had a meeting with his Korean counterpart Yu Myung-hwan, and they both discuss the bilateral agenda. In addition, he held meetings with businessmen of that country in order to share with them security and economic progress of Colombia.

Seoul, South Korea, Sep 3 (SP). The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jaime Bermúdez Merizalde, held a meeting this Thursday with the President of South Korea, Lee Myung-bak, to talk about the progress of the feasibility studies for the negotiation of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between both nations.

During their meeting they also talked about the status of the negotiation for the Promotion and Protection Agreement and the Agreement to avoid Double Taxation.

Bermúdez also met with his Korean counterpart, Yu Myung-hwan to discuss the bilateral agenda.

The Minister also held meetings with businessmen of that country in order to share with them security and economic progress of Colombia.

In addition, they had the opportunity to know of the possibilities for investment in the fields of infrastructure and energy.
